Botox relies on botulinum toxin, a toxin that temporarily paralyzes muscle activity. Muscles injected with Botox will contract less strongly or not at all, which prevents wrinkles from deepening and improves pain for multiple conditions. Our Process
When you come in for an appointment, we’ll sit down with you and discuss your needs and goals, and work with you to determine the best course of treatment. After applying an anesthetic, we use fine needles to inject the material into the problem area. You should not feel any pain, and most procedures take less than 15 minutes. We inject Botox or fillers based on what we’re treating. Our aim is always to enhance your natural features and alleviate pain! You can resume normal activity that day, but you should be careful to not rub or touch the treated area, as it may cause the Botox to move. It may be two weeks before you are able to see results, and the treatment’s effects last anywhere from two to six months. We will schedule follow-up appointments depending on your specific case.
